Prachtige Locaties in Harderwijk

Just off the coast, opposite Naarden Marina, lie two small islands shaped like a shell. Together, they form a sheltered bay. At De Schelp, you can cool off in the forest or in the water at the small swimming beach.

De Eekt ligt in het Drontermeer, ten noorden van Elburg. Het groene eiland ligt op slechts een paar kilometer varen van de vestingstad. Je legt hier aan voor rust en ruimte. Hoewel er geen uitgebreide voorzieningen zijn, is het eiland een prettige plek om even aan land te gaan, te zwemmen of te overnachten.

Huizerhoef feels like a green sanctuary on the edge of the water. A small-scale island with a safe harbor basin, forest, and open grasslands, where you step ashore after a boat trip to clear your head or simply seek peace and quiet.

WIJ-land is not an island, but a natural harbor on the Nuldernauw near Zeewolde. You moor here in a sheltered basin, with the Horsterwold directly behind you.

Midway between Roggebotsluis and Elburg lies the island of De Kleine Zwaan in Lake Drontermeer. At this easily accessible mooring, you will naturally unwind, surrounded by open water and with nature close by.

Diagonally opposite the Veluwemeer aqueduct, close to the inner harbor of Harderwijk, lies the Leidam. Not an island in the classic sense, but a breakwater in the Wolderwijd where you can moor about fifteen boats.

De Dode Hond is the oldest island in the Randmeren. What was once constructed as a working island has grown into an open and rugged piece of nature. Among the reeds and low vegetation, you can spot birds and other animals here, and the water is always close by.

Anyone visiting the island of De Meerkoet in early spring will undoubtedly hear them: the nightingales. In addition, the island is known for its larger, sheltered inner harbor, allowing you to moor there for an extended period.

From the aqueduct near Harderwijk, you can already see Knarland. A green island in the Wolderwijd, with a sheltered harbor basin and an open central section that, due to the vegetated sandy expanse, almost gives a Wadden Sea feel.

De Ral Island is a lively spot on Lake Veluwe, with space for mooring, recreation, and camping. Whether you arrive with your own boat or wish to stay with a group, the island offers plenty of possibilities.

Anyone setting course for Pierland will arrive at the largest island of the Randmeren. Located in the middle of the Veluwemeer, halfway between Bremerbergse Hoek and Harderwijk, lies an island where you can always find a sheltered mooring and where it is pleasant to spend the evening by a fire pit.

De Biezen is located in the Wolderwijd, not far from Harderwijk. It is a small-scale nature island with a bowl-shaped harbor enclosed by trees. As a result, you are sheltered here, out of the wind, and just a little further away from the hustle and bustle.
