Kamerkoor COV NW-Veluwe – Koffieconcert

The Kamerkoor van de Christelijke Oratorium Vereniging Noord-West Veluwe will be performing a coffee concert in the atmospheric Catharinakapel in Harderwijk. Visitors are welcome to walk in and listen to the chamber choir, with a relaxing coffee break halfway through.

More than fifty years of chamber music

The Kamerkoor is affiliated with the Christelijke Oratorium Vereniging Noord-West Veluwe and has consisted of approximately twenty singers since 1971, who are also members of the large oratorio choir. The chamber choir is led by conductor Jurriaan Grootes and performs several times a year at cantata services in the region, often in Ermelo, but also in Nijkerk, Nunspeet and Harderwijk.

From Bach to English choral music

The repertoire of the chamber choir is diverse and covers works by, among others, Byrd, Purcell, Tallis, the Bach family, Händel, Fauré and Stainer. Every year, the choir provides a coffee concert in the Catharinakapel, a tradition that the chamber choir has upheld for many years.

Walk-in concert with coffee break

This coffee concert is part of a series of walk-in concerts in the Catharinakapel, where visitors can enjoy various performances without an entrance fee, from singers and musicians to choirs. The doors open at 10:00, the music starts at 10:30, and there is a short coffee break halfway through the morning. Visitors are free to walk in at any time.
