Zaterdagmarkt op het Kloosterplein
The weekly highlight for many residents of Harderwijk. Every Saturday from 8.30 am to 1.30 pm, around 30 stalls are set up around the Kloosterplein and the Smeepoortenbrink. You can smell the fresh fish from a distance, the flower stall brightens up the square and the baker slides his warm loaves straight across the counter. Are you here to do your shopping? Then fill your bag with fruit and veg, fish, cheese and bread. Fancy a browse? Stroll past the stalls selling clothes, shoes and fabrics. Come early for the best selection — and enjoy everything you’ve just bought fresh back at home in the afternoon.
Wednesday Market in Drielanden
A little smaller, a little more personal. Every Wednesday from 8.30 am to 1.00 pm, you’ll find a lovely neighbourhood market on Tonselsedreef. The poulterer, the fishmonger and the cheesemonger know their regulars by name. And then there’s the real surprise: delicious Vietnamese snacks, perfect for on the go or as lunch. Nuts, fresh fish, a chat with the neighbours — this is the market that adds a touch of festivity to your midweek.
Ibiza Market on the Boulevard
In summer, the Boulevard is transformed into a little Mediterranean paradise. At the Ibiza Market, you can stroll past around 70 stalls brimming with colourful clothes, jewellery, lifestyle items and trinkets. With Lake Veluwe in the background, a fresh breeze and the summer sun, you’ll feel as though you’re a world away from home. A must for anyone who loves atmosphere, music and exploring.

Good to know: free parking in Harderwijk has been abolished as of 1 January 2026. Bear this in mind, or why not come by bike — that’s the best way to have a stroll through the historic centre after your visit to the market anyway.
