The Birkenheim farm at Zuiderzeestraatweg 130 (Hierden) is not open to the public during the year. During this Open Monument Day, this farmyard is being opened to the public on a limited basis. A Veluwe farmhouse with a thatched roof, dating from 1839 according to the year anchors in the front facade. This beautiful, original farmyard is open for viewing today. You can take a look inside the barn and the bakehouse. You can also look around the yard even when the resident is not at home. The farmhouse itself is not accessible. A sculled calf is located above the front door.
