The water tower was built in 1895 to a design by D. de Leeuw. The height is 18.95 m; the capacity of the water reservoir is 336 m³.
Currently: exhibition space for objects from World War II. Since March 15, 2025, the Water Tower has been open on every second and fourth Saturday of the month from 09:00 to 13:00. Upon request, groups can also be received at the war memorial museum on other days: contact via [email protected]. The memorial center, which is located in the water tower, is open on Open Monument Day.
