Discover the medieval city wall and the excavated rondel of Harderwijk – a unique national monument from the fortifications of this historic Hanseatic city.
During the restoration of this section of the city wall, the foundation of a rondel came to light. To make it visible, the rondel was built up a few meters using modern stone. Diagonally opposite the rondel, on the Vitringasingel (next to the Houtwalgarage), is the boarding point for the bus to Hierden.
