Plantagekerk

Discover the Plantagekerk (1932), a beautifully preserved monument in the Amsterdam School style with stained glass. Visit it during Open Monument Day!

The Plantagekerk is not open to the public during the year. During this Open Monument Day, the Plantagekerk will be open on Saturday, September 12. The Plantagekerk was built in 1932, based on a design by the Harderwijk architect PH van Lonkhuyzen. The entire church, including the tower, is constructed of dark red bricks in Flemish bond. The main entrance consists of a wide round arch comprising six courses of bricks and a wide double door with wrought-iron hinges. The windows are filled with colored stained glass. The interior of the church has been largely preserved. Information regarding the PodiumPlantage program will follow.
