During this Open Monument Day, the Plantagekerk will be open on Saturday, September 12. The Plantagekerk was built in 1932, based on a design by the Harderwijk architect PH van Lonkhuyzen. The entire church, including the tower, is constructed of dark red bricks in Flemish bond. The main entrance consists of a wide round arch comprising six courses of bricks and a wide double door with wrought-iron hinges. The windows are filled with colored stained glass. The interior of the church has been largely preserved. Information regarding the PodiumPlantage program will follow.
