The wall houses near the Vischpoort are not open to the public during the year. The wall house closest to the Vischpoort (Schapenhoek 9) is the entrance to the Vischpoort. The Vischpoort is open during these Open Monument Days. Only the wall house at Schapenhoek 7 (the antique shop) is open during Open Monument Day. Four wall houses with lean-to roofs against the sea wall near the Vischpoort. The wall houses were formerly inhabited by the less affluent residents of the city.
