In Harderwijk, you will find the Toekantoren, standing nearly 50 meters tall! The tower has 226 steps, and from the top, you have a view over the northwest of the Veluwe. You can climb the 226 stairs daily, weather permitting, to enjoy the view.
Toucan on a nest
The concept is the well-known Van der Valk toucan sitting on a nest. This bird watches over the nest and the Veluwe, as it were. Over time, the tower and the nest will change color to a rusty brown, so that they blend into the surroundings.
