Poppodium Estrado presents Sons of the Culture Clash, the new band from Rudeboy and DJ DNA, known from Urban Dance Squad. The band lets rock, hip hop, funk and electronica collide unashamedly in an explosive live show.
Ready for something new after a hundred shows
Sons of the Culture Clash came about from the urge to push boundaries again. With Rudeboy and DJ DNA in its ranks, a comparison with the past is obvious, but this band prefers to look ahead. After more than a hundred shows under the banner of Rudeboy Plays Urban Dance Squad, it was time for new music, new energy and a new challenge.
Grooves that grate and beats without rules
The band delivers grooves that are both danceable and raw, guitars that grate and bite, and beats that pay no heed to fixed rules. The result is an explosive sound that constantly surprises and never stands still. New songs are at the heart of the show, although Urban Dance Squad classics that have lost none of their power still make an appearance from time to time.
No nostalgia, but renewal
Sons of the Culture Clash is not a nostalgic look back, but a band that brings the spirit of musical renewal back to life. The audience is taken to places where the next moment is never reached.
