The Jan van Schaffelaar barracks, the construction of which was completed in 1939, was built for the Dutch army.

Where a monastery once stood, the Gelderland Mint was established in 1584, from which the apartment complex derives its name. Subsequently, it served as the Colonial Shipyard Depot from 1814 to 1909. Until 1992, the building complex was called the Oranje Nassau Barracks.

The bronze bell was consecrated as a monument during Pentecost in 1947. On September 24, 1983, a bronze memorial column was unveiled next to the bell, designed by Bé van Aalderen and executed by the Dutch bell foundry Eijsbouts.

The Luttekepoort was a land gate in Harderwijk. The gate was one of the city's four land gates.

The Vischpoort is the only remaining city gate. In 1851, the coastal light was placed on top of the gate. Today, the Herderewich Archaeological Society is housed in the Vischpoort.

The monument in Gortel (Epe) commemorates the deceased crew members of the British bomber R 9168 T-for-Tommy, which crashed here on December 16, 1942. The deceased are buried in the cemetery on Tongerenseweg in Epe.
